Women & Philanthropy has an established pooled fund within the ASU Foundation to provide funding in support of advancing ASU as a New American University. Funds support initiatives and programs that help fulfill the vision of excellence, access and impact.
Funding requests are evaluated by the Women & Philanthropy Investment Committee and full membership. All current, active ASU programs may request funding from Women & Philanthropy in accordance with the funding calendar and guidelines.
Women & Philanthropy offers a Category A grant which will fund ONE grant in the amount of $100,000. We will seek a program that emphasizes one or more of the guiding principles of the New American University - academic excellence, broad access, and meaningful, positive impact on the economic, social, cultural and environmental health of the diverse communities we serve. The balance of the Women & Philanthropy Pooled Fund will provide Category B funding for investment in projects with high levels of impact and innovation that embody the guiding principles of the New American University.
The deadline has passed to submit an application for the 2011-12 fiscal year. The 2012-13 Women and Philanthropy grant application will be available in August 2012.
